It is followed by continuous development in change management, such as active governance and consistent skill management. Business design consists of two phases: doing and being able to do.
Meaning creation is vital in business design, as the power of facts becomes essential in this phase. When documenting, the description must be as accurate as possible. The rule here is: "The map is not the landscape." It is therefore necessary to find the right level of abstraction that is detailed enough to make the models useful. However, to minimize the documentation effort, they should not be more detailed than necessary. The key question is: What information do I need to manage the business?
