There is nothing good unless you do it

The variety of disciplines and the ever-new approaches
enable everyone to solve problems at any time and anywhere. There are no limits
to imagination and optimism. However, the ideas and concepts only generate
impact when they are implemented. And thoroughly to achieve the desired
effects. For this reason, concept developments, no matter how big or small,
should ALWAYS create concrete next steps.
After all, there is nothing good unless you do it. (loosely based on Erich
Kästner)
It always requires a revision of the agency. To this
end, the rules that have evolved in the meantime must be replaced by creating
or revising new governance. For exec(utives/utors) to implement the changes, a
lack of acceptance must be anticipated and managed as soon as possible.
Everyone talks about reducing bureaucracy, but they
are unable to consistently streamline their regulations, including guidelines,
work instructions, job descriptions, and other rules. The solution is new
governance, which replaces the proliferation of old rules with general
guardrails that provide compact principles, transparent reporting and
decision-making paths, basic terminology, Critical Success Factors, metrics,
guidelines, and defined roles. Away from strict regulations with infinite
loopholes, towards a general work ethic with a personalized commitment that
obliges to act morally without exceptions.
Action is
often blocked when the exec(utives/utors) do not know, are not able, are not
allowed, or do not want. Concrete measures can minimize the identified resistance.
Although the identified resistance can be minimized with concrete measures. For
example
- Not knowing is resolved through publications and information events.
- Not being able requires appropriate education and training.
- Not being allowed is overridden by public instructions to those in charge.
- Not wanting should be questioned and examined to understand the personal reasons.
The overall purpose is to take action, as there is nothing good unless you do it.
