The business model is a fundamental framework for an enterprise that helps to understand, develop, communicate, and refine its business strategy and operations. As an alternative to the memecon® business model from 2008, the now-established Business Model Canvas can be used.

The memecon® business model consists of nine building blocks:

  1. Deliverables concept
The core of the business model consists of the business idea, value proposition, market definition, and the specific product/service offering.
  2.
  3. Earning model
It describes how the company generates revenue, e.g., through pricing strategies, payment models, and various revenue streams.
  4.
  5. Value creation
The value-adding processes are crucial for developing, producing, delivering, and supporting products and services.
  6.
  7. Organization
The organization comprises its internal structure, leadership, decision-making processes, and corporate culture.
  8.
  9. Partner
The external active participants support the company, e.g., suppliers or strategic alliances.
  10.
  11. Customer
The company's target groups, with their specific needs, behaviors, and relationships to the company, compensate the company for the services provided.
  12.
  13. Resources
Resources are the material, intangible, human, and financial resources required for business operations.
  14.
  15. Communication
Communication encompasses the methods by which the company communicates and interacts with its customers and the market.
  16.
  17. Coordination
Systems and methods for coordinating and controlling all internal and external activities enable the harmonization of all activities.
